La Tomatina Festival

CLIENT: Big Cat Group

BRAND: Mission Wraps

LOCATION: Canary Wharf

ACTIVITY SUMMARY:

We were tasked with sourcing 150 staff who would be happy to participate in a tomato fight in the middle of Canary Wharf. The fight was meant to resemble La Tomatina Festival and film & photos from it were used in advertising for Mission Wraps. On top of that our client wanted many professional dancers who would not only participate in the fight but also arrange a short choreographed dance at the end.

SOLUTION:

As we had only few days to put the team together (and having their clothes ruined wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea) we resorted to social media and created a buzz about the campaign which generated a wave of applicants.

On the day we had 4 supervisors signing people in and making sure they all had the correct uniform!

RESULTS:

  • 100% STAFF ATTENDANCE

  • COVERAGE IN MAIN DAILY NEWSPAPERS

  • TRENDING ON TWITTER

  • ONGOING WORK WITH BIG CAT GROUP

OUR CLIENT SAID:

On the day of the event, Michael arrived with the required 150 members of staff and handled the registration and signing in process for me.  The staff themselves were great – very professional, game for a laugh and perfectly suited to the event.
