How do we pay for our event staff?
If you have an account with us we work with 14 day terms of payment. Otherwise payment for event staff is due in full prior to your event/promotional drive.

Do you charge overtime past midnight?
No, we do not charge overtime for event staff working past midnight.

Do we have to book cabs for event staff working late?
Taxi fares incurred by our event staff for all travel after 23.30 hours after an event will be charged to you. You may prefer to organise cabs yourself if you have a preferred supplier. If not, we can do it for you.

Do we have to book event staff for a minimum number of hours?
Yes, the minimum booking for our event staff and promotional staff is for 4 hours, 6 hours for chefs, unless otherwise agreed.

Do we to pay for travel time?
Generally for events outside London’s zone 3, Metro personnel are paid for the cost of travel. This will normally represent a reimbursement for their train fare.
If the time taken to travel to a venue (under normal circumstances) is greater than 1 hour, staff are commonly paid for their time spent travelling.
If compensation for travel costs or travel time is to be provided then it will be detailed in the information that you are provided with before the event.

Are staff entitled to breaks?
Yes. All workers have the right to a break of 20 minutes if required to work continuously for more than six hours. The break should be taken during the six hour period and not at the beginning or end of it.
